Firstly, this play is written by John Steinbeck in 1937, it tells a story about two fellows Lennie Small and George Milton, who are the people move from this place to that place in California to look for jobs.
George Milton, a very intelligent but unschooled man and Lennie Small, a big and strong guy but mentally il, they're on their way to another part of California. They hope that one day the would have their own land. Lennie’s dream was to tend and pet rabbits on the farm, as he extremely likes touching squashy animals, even though he always kills them. They get away after Lennie touched a young woman’s dress and he wouldn't let go and it made things more complicated and leading to an accusation of rape.

The two also met Candy , who’s a ranch handyman with only one hand and a very loyal dog, and Slim, a very smart and gentle and he gives a dog to Lennie and Candy.
Although they have to face with many problems, they were still happy with Candy’s offer that he would support them with $350 so that Lennie and George can buy a farm at the end of the month, in return, they would allow Candy to live with them. The trinity are delighted but their happiness were minimised by Curley that he attacks Lennie, first Lennie didn't against Curley since George told Lennie not to do it before but then seeing Lennie got beat up badly that George started telling Lennie to beat Curley back and Lennie did, Curley got beaten up back and started convincing George to tell Lennie to stop beating him , Curley ended up being injured badly. After that, Candy finds them to discuss their plans about the farm with Crocks and all of sudden Curley’s wife appears and flirt with them men
