Once there was this book called Of Mice and Men about the Great Depression in the 1930s. There were two characters named George and Lennie. The two were looking for work on a ranch. In the book Of Mice and Men, John Steinbeck portrays the three conflicts, Desire for the American, Loneliness and Lennie’s disability. In the end Lennie's disability ended up getting him killed and he didn't get to live his dream of owning a rabbit farm. George and Lennie had a very strong desire to buy there own place and farm their own land and raise their own animals and not to be told what to do.
