The Dwarf and Sun of the Boss
Comparing Gimli from the Lord of the Rings and Curley from Of Mice and Men I thought of Gimli to compare to Curley. I’m comparing them to each other because they both always want to fight. In the book Of Mice and Men, a character in the book says “Curley used to be a light weight fighter and just doesn’t like big guys.” (Steinbeck 26), and in The Lord of the Rings Gimli just wants to find the Orcs. Another example is that they are both very cocky and ignorant. I think Curley shows this when he says “what the hell you laughin’ at?”(Steinbeck
