Bill Gates
“The golden rule that all lives have equal value and we should treat people as we would like to be treated” (Tweedie). Bill Gate’s belief is that all lives rich or poor should have the same rights, and that money can not be taken with you in the end, so why not share it. Bill Gates is a self-made billionaire, business leader, entrepreneur, and a philanthropist (“Bill Gates”). William Henry Gates III, better known as Bill Gates was born on October 28th, 1955 in Seattle, Washington (Harbo 5). He was a very intelligent child (Demuth 23). His love for computers started as a young boy (Demuth 23). He went to a private school that had a teletype, which changed his life (Demuth 14). …show more content…
When their charity first started 400,000 children were stricken with polio, now it is down to one thousand (Tweedie). If this trend continues Gates’ money and time spent to erase polio will have made a large significance to society. Gates will provide over ninety-five percent of his wealth to his foundation which will provide enough money for the research for cures of other diseases for twenty years after Bill and Melinda Gates are deceased (Tweedie). This is a global impact that will hopefully abolish other fatal plagues.
Bill Gates was a lot of fun to learn about. When I first got him as my first choice, I just thought he built computers. Now I learned that he was a billionaire, not just a millionaire. Bill Gates thinks too much about other people, and he should focus more on himself because he is the reason I am typing on a keyboard and writing my paper. Bill Gates, in my opinion is a blessing from God. He has changed this world and put it closer to happiness. He has inspired me to do something great in this world. I will never look at money the same, now that I know how money can solve your problems and I hope you think the
