Oedipus greatly known for defeating Sphinx. Which he freed that city ,yet he was also given a prophecy in which he didn't believe and called one of the 12 greatly gods a false speaker. Apollo had given him a prophecy which stated that he would kill his father ,married his mother ,and have children with her , however Oedipus told him it was outrageous. He was now accusing a greatly god of speaking untruthful words. Knowing he was abducted from his parents he did not know who they were. Therefore, he thought that will never happened since he didn't know who they were and where they lived. Finding out that a great ruler had died he wanted to know who the murder was and it was himself ,for he was his dad and he had no clue.
