A lot of people in this day of age will read the Odyssey and question whether or not they could act in the position of Telemachus or Odysseus or even Penelope. I find in the first twelve books of the poem to be very fast pace, but with that comes many new interesting plans and decisions. The decisions that Telemachus makes in the poem to go find his dad and be courageous is something that in our own lives we can do. Being young and probably not the wisest person comes lessons to learn and usually we learn from our fathers, but there are many families and kids who are separated and do not get that needed time together.
