Odysseus Leadership Style Analysis

Guidance, direction, and management are three words that describe the trait of leadership. The dictionary describes leadership as the action of leading a group of people or organization. I agree with this definition but also believe that leadership is a skill that is hard to master, and makes people around you feel more secure with where they're going and what they're doing with their time. We see and follow leaders everyday such as teachers, parents, fellow peers and even sometimes we’re the ones showing leadership to the people around us. And while leadership can be a good thing, there are times when leadership is not necessary or even taken too far. While there are many different ways you can think about leadership. Something that leadership isn't is heroism. While in some cases leadership can show courage, which is a trait of heroism, the two words are different. Leadership is depicted as leading a group while heroism is showing courage. For example, if there is some form of emergency, showing leadership would involve directing people and making sure they get to a safer area. On the other hand, showing heroism would involve making sure no one lags behind and helping those who are injured or even going back to make sure everyone made it out safely.
