I think Odysseus is a hero because of these reasons, he is caring about people, he is trust worthy, and he can be protective. First, Odysseus can be caring about other people like his team mates during the time of need Odysseus can save his men’s life sometimes like during the time when he was planning of saving his comrades from the cyclops by stabbing it in the eye with a large sharpen log, just like in the military as the saying goes “no man left behind” or sometimes cops saving people’s lives or paramedics saving injured people.

Second, Odysseus is very trust worthy, like all his men trust him mainly because he is a hero but overall, he really is a nice guy, he earned some of their trust by saving their lives or just being there for
