I believe out of the two of them that a journey is more important. The journey is traveling from place to place in search of the task at hand. It’s the most important because without the journey there would be no quest and journey is how to become the best person that you can be. You need the journey to complete or accomplish any task that you are given. The journey gives you many opportunities to become a hero. You learn the rights from wrong and how to handle tough times. The journey can also help you to become a hero, a hero that can save you from defeat or from the toughest challenges. The journey is how you learn what it takes to be a hero and grow stronger. In the book, “The Odyssey”, Odysseus changed. He turned himself around and by the end wasn’t as self-absorbed. Odysseus learned that he needed to take care of his men unlike in the beginning of the journey when he was too arrogant to care. “It would have been indeed better if we had done so but I would not listen to them, for I wanted to see the owner himself, in the hope that he might give …show more content…

The brave son of Odysseus proves his loyalty to his absent father in multiple occasions. He remains loyal to his own intuition that his father is alive and goes out to seek for him and upon his return he stands beside his father in an effort to take down the stubborn suitors. Without Telemachus’ loyalty, the suitors would’ve run amuck long before the return of his father and upon the hero’s return he most likely would have been murdered if he didn’t have the support of his son. In order to be a hero you don’t need power, it’s something that comes from the heart no matter how small or big a situation is. The most amazing thing about being a hero is that anyone could become that person, for example: a parent, sibling, family member, icon, celebrity, or friend. All of these individuals will have the qualities of risking their lives for people in need and protecting the innocent. In my opinion, the most important thing about a hero is that even if he or she suffers from the situation they will still do the right thing. One great example from a movie about a hero is, “The Game Plan” when Joe Kingman (as Dwayne Johnson) was going to put his football career on the line, to…
