The movie which I have found related to the subject of bullying is “Odd Girl Out”. This movie was directed by Tom McLoughlin in 2005. The story of the movie is based on the novel “Odd Girl Out: The Hidden Culture of Aggression in Girls”. This movie covers the story of the victim of bullying of a girl named Vanessa Snyder by his female classmates, Stacey, Nikki and Tiffany. Nasty rumor, web of lies is spared by Nikki about Vanessa that causes a great psychological disturbance for Vanessa. At many occasions, Nikki and Tiffany verbally abuse Vanessa. The audiences of this movie are the students of high schools, colleges and also the universities but the main audiences is the female students who are aggressive in nature and cause bully to other students. In this movie, the issue of bullying is presented in very realistic way. The acting skills of all the actors of this movie have made it more realistic. Furthermore this movie describes all the factors about bulling such as why, how, to whom and by whom the act of bulling can be done and faced. Furthermore this movie also reveals that how anyone can fight against the issue of bullying like Vanessa fights against the issue of Vanessa in this movie. There are some scenes in the movie where bystander effects have been included in the story. The depiction of bullying situations is realistic in this movie. It can be observed in the movie when Vanessa and her mother were invited for birthday party and no one was there at location of party. It was very sad and painful for Vanessa and her mother too. This incident forced Vanessa to choose to option of suicide and end her life. The characteristics of social class, skills, talents, and interest have been used in this movie to marginalize the cast members such as Vanessa was very successful in her academic and was well respected student. This causes too much jealousy to her friends Nikki, Stacey and Tiffany.
According to my point of view the TV shows, …show more content…
