The early autumn of October is a beautiful time, there are four children memories about the rising rockets on October sky. There is a film about the agreement between four children and sky that is named October Sky, which is based on true story. This paper tells of this motivational movie about chasing the dream.There are four children who change their original destiny by researching manufactured rockets. There are many obstacles in the way of chasing dream, but they also keep enthusiasm. Even if they repeatedly suspected and blocked, they never forget their beginning heart. Anyway, it is a great youthful film worth watching.

"October Sky'' tells the story of four boys built their own rockets, and in this process what they experienced(Wisch, 1999). In the way of striving their dream, they encountered various troubles and obstacles. Plot twist increases people's interest for the ending. Different with another youth film, October Sky’s plot is more abundant and audience does not have to endure the tedium of the plot. There is plot of the movie, the rocket was suspected to be a cause of forest fire, so they had to halt. When Hick’s father hurt when he work, he dropped out of school to replaced his father's work. Even under the double blow, he did not give up the dream. Hick proved their rocket was not the reason of the forest fires to everyone who used bad match.
