Octavius Caesar Diary Report

This is one of the biggest moments of my life, today my army meets with Brutus and Cassius’s army. One of my messengers told me that their army was close, so I decided to send Octavius to lead some of the army on the left side of the battlefield. I got so mad and frustrated at Octavius because he decided go on the right side of the field and lead his army. I just let him go because we did not have time to argue. All the generals, including me, met in the middle of battlefield. Diary, this battle reminds of the battle of Pompey and Caesar. I have a man on the inside of Cassius and Brutus’s army. He told me that if they lose they might consider suicide or being killed than walking through Rome as a prisoner of Antony. My man in the inside told me that they were going to advance faster to stop Octavius’s wave because they were not doing well. My army was able to surround Cassius. When I looked through the window, I saw Cassius give his servant a sword to kill him, Cassius died and the servant ran away. …show more content…
The sword he killed himself with was the one he killed Caesar with. The spy on my side told me about Brutus and how he reacted to the death of Cassius. He told another servant to get more soldiers ready for another battle. Diary, beating Brutus will be hard because he has already tricked me by using a nobleman to act like Brutus. Once I saw that they tricked me, I told my men to advance and keep fighting. I have defeated Brutus and his army, but I could not find him. When I asked my spy, he said that he asked many friends of his to kill him but they all refused. One of the men he asked agreed, but he just held the sword while Brutus ran into the sword. Not killing Cassius and Brutus did not give me the defeat I wanted. I wanted to kill them myself for Caesar. Diary, I am so happy that I have won for Caesar and for
