When we look at out our world from space, there is a very clear picture of the ocean. Do we know how our ocean became split up in different parts, how come our oceans don't always change in shape? These are questions that have been asked before. When i explained the idea of how plate tectonics may have been the right answer to these questions i only stated that this could be a reason why the ocean has its shape.

Each of these crustal plates are are connected in a way, fitting in with each other like a puzzle, and because they are connected and so close to one another if one moves it causes a chain reaction and effects all the other ones.
