“Dre, Dre! Wake up!” I yelled as I bounced up and down on the bed

“ What do you want!” my brother moaned as he was half asleep

“ I want to go to the beach it is so hot! Also, I want you to teach me how to surf because we got new surfboards for Christmas” I grinned

“Fine go get dressed I will have dad take us” he approved with still a half-asleep face

“I will never be able to ride a wave” I bawled

“Why did you bring me here!” I kept ranting,

I knew my anger, and frustration were taking over.

“Try again, You can do it!!” my brother happily told me.

“Ok fine. One more try, that’s it” I agreed

As I found a bit smaller wave, got onto my surfboard, started paddling, the wave got closer it went under my board. I started going with the wave. I went on to my knees and slowly started to stand up it got a little bit wobbly. but I got my balance one leg at a time. I started to stand up, it got a little bit less wobbly and then I stood up! I was so happy that I yelled out,
“Yay, I did it!” I screamed happily

“Cristiana you did it! I’m so proud of you!” Dre and dad
