1. If you were the CEO or had a significant position of power within the company, how would help address the situation?
Once the situation has occurred I would admit to it. Denial of the situation would just make the situation that much worse and the family members of those involved would be extremely angered. I would also publicly apologize and personally apologize to the family. Along with the public apology I would address my plan thereafter that would mostly consist of a thorough inspection. There have been many new standards to prevent things from happening. Keeping up with the environmental standards would help addressing the public in how the company addresses ocean drilling.
