Acidification of the oceans is anthropogenic meaning that it originates from human activities. Today ocean acidification is one of the top environmental issues because the sea is becoming more acidic. The acid changes the chemical make-up of all the waters in the oceans, as well as temperature resulting from excess carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Many subjects connect and follow ocean acidification being; chemistry, paleontology, biology, ecology, biochemistry, modeling, and social sciences.
