Occupational Therapy Motivation

My biggest inspiration for my pursuit in Occupational Therapy is my mom. She has been a nurse for the past fifteen years of her life and she told me that Occupational Therapy was one of the best fields to be in. Her dedication and love for her patients inspires me. I strive to have the motivation that she has for her job. My inspiration to pursue Occupational Therapy is because it’s low-stress, good pay, and I can help others. When I decided to pursue a degree in Occupational Therapy, I knew it would require work and persistence. Like anything else in life, I have to work hard for the things that further myself and possibly others. Having a successful and enjoyable career, is my ultimate goal in life.
