Receiving this scholarship would help me in more ways than one. This scholarship would help my family and I pay for the expenses of my books and my tuition, this way I would not be stressed during my studies of how I will be able to pay for all of my schooling. Any form of money that I can receive will be significantly beneficial. Being a recipient I would use this money to put towards my degree in Occupational Therapy, where I will be helping kids with disabilities learn the basic day to day living skills.
After graduation, I will be attending East Central College to get my general courses out of the way, while taking classes that will help me in my future career. After this, I will apply for their OTA (occupational therapy assistant) program.
