Daryl would fuss at me sometimes when I refuse to go to therapy. Daryl was my favorite occupational therapist he is the best. Another personal favorite leader in my life was my junior high basketball coach. Her name was Candy she was young and beautiful. She was about 24 coaching 7th and 8th graders at Humboldt junior high. Her body was in great shape the whole team wondered where she came from. She wanted us to be in good shape to the first thing she wanted us to do in practice was run suicide drills. That is running up and down bleachers we also ran a mile every other day of practice. She also talks to us one on one she motivates us as a team not individuals. Her character is loud and out spoken she would call you out at any time. We won most of our games when she was coaching. Miss. Candy drove a monte Carlos of course it was black to match her hair. Miss. Candy job was to motivate us to develop teamwork through good teaching and coaching skills. I would consider Ms. Candy as a participative leader because she talked to us and ask us things before she made decision to do it. My eight grade year I did not play the team got a new coach that year. Communication was her main leadership quality and made us just want to follow

I have wanted to become an Occupational Therapy Assistant since I was in 7th grade. The school I went to housed all of the special needs children for the county. I grew up with these children in my classes and always wanted them to know that just because they have the label special needs does not mean that they are different from anybody else. I watched an OTA come to school everyday and work with these children to help them write better and kick a ball so they could go to P.E. with us. I thought to myself what an amazing job opportunity this would be to let people know that they can do anything they set their mind to.…
