Personal Statement For the longest time I aspired to be an Occupational Therapist. A month ago, I noticed that wasn’t the journey I desired to take. I kept asking myself, “why?” what made me heartfelt about that career in the first place? Then it dawned on me, people. It took me quite some time to realize that this was the path I wanted to take. I always knew I wanted to obtain a masters but I wasn’t quite sure in which area I wanted to study. After volunteering at the hospital, I realized that I wasn’t fervid about the therapy itself, I was passionate with the thought of working with people and providing them with comfort.
