1. This reflection took place in the gym between myself, the Occupational Therapist (OT) and Zane a 3-year-old boy. Zane has significant cognitive and physical delays. The OT was working on Zane’s ability to balance sitting down because his parents have decided to enroll him in school. The OT sat Zane at the edge of a blue bench and she sat down behind him to support him. The OT also had another bench to the right of him so that he could support himself and I sat to the left of him. We put a pole where there were rings in front of Zane. I took some off and let Zane take a ring one at a time and put it on the pole. Meanwhile the OT sat behind Zane, holding his hips letting him try and balance himself as he reached for the rings and put them on the pole. We also put some on the bench to his right and allowed him to work on picking them up and handing them to me. Then we worked on getting Zane to reach down …show more content…
This observation occurred between the OT, Kean, and Kean’s mother. Kean is a 8 year old boy who has ADHD and minor physical delays. According to the OT Kean’s mother home schools him. We were sitting in the OT room at the table. The OT and Kean began to do heavy work at the table. The OT began by making Kean sit in the chair and with the resistance band tied to the bottom of it she had him push his feet against it and count to 10 and repeat it 3 times. Next, still sitting down on the chair, the OT had him bend down, grab the band and pull it up for 10 seconds 3 times. Lastly, the OT made him hold to the side of the chair and push himself up and hold for 10 seconds 3 times. She turned to Kean’s mom and let her know that the purpose of those exercises was to get him focused and ready to sit down and work. Kean’s mother told the OT that the breathing and counting exercises that she gave them previously had been very helpful not only for Kean but for herself as well. Kean’s mother also told Kean to remind her about breathing next time he sees her getting

As the July 15 deadline draws near, Dez Bryant, his agents, and Dallas Cowboys executives resume contract negotiations to try and get the wide receiver to start for the team in September. Held this week at the Cowboy’s team facility, it was the first time in almost four months that both parties have met in person to discuss the 26-year-old’s financial and playing future in Dallas, as per ESPN. If the discussions go beyond the deadline, then Bryant has no choice but to play under the tender or not play at all. Negotiations will then be able to commence at the end…

Despite the best efforts of the Japanese Ambassadors and American Secretary during negotiations, it seems the path to war had been set. The Japanese believed East Asia would crumble without their support, that they were the stabilizing force. Even while in talks with the Americans, Japan was preparing their Army and Navy for open hostilities. Undeterred by four years of hardship, they took for granted the support of their people in this endeavor. They posited that their demands were weak and should not be met with opposition and supposed the United States had an ulterior motive in regard to China, a key piece in the negotiations.…

Although the rights approach is intended to be an ‘enlightened response’ it sometimes seem partial to the one that holds the most perceived power. As in your post, your position with law enforcement could be seen as more powerful than the person who violated probation. When the judge is presented with the case, he must decide between a law professional and a criminal. From what I understand about probation violation, the person has limited rights in the negotiation of the conflict.…
