Obtaining Smart Goals
I plan on obtaining my smart goals by buckling down and becoming a better leader not just for the employees of JAK but also for myself. I plan to finally put a stop to that nasty habit of procrastination and set aside those two solid hours daily to focus solely on myself and my duties. I know by working on my own goals and achieving them on time it can only help me become a better manager and help others in achieving their goals as well. This will make us all better employees and our company even stronger than ever.
I also plan to provide more feedback and constructive criticism to my co-workers. I need to learn to separate work and personal feelings in order to make this happen. I must stop worrying about hurting someone’s feelings, making someone angry or causing a conflict because to be a successful manager you have to be able to stand firm and lead your employees to make a better and more productive work environment for everyone. I must remember that first and foremost I am a leader and that friendships and likability come second and accept the fact that they may not always like me but they absolutely will respect me. And by taking these steps and achieving my goals I can become a better leader and person and hopefully help in leading JAK Productions to many more successful years in
