Obtaining Life Insurance

Obtaining life insurance is a debatable question. However, if you have a family, than life insurance is a must so you don't leave a financial burden on your family. "Most people buy life insurance to protect the people who depend on them from financial losses caused by their death." ( Focus on Personal Finance). A wife or husband should leave their spouse with unexpected expenses. Life insurance policy's is way to help pay for items such as mortgages or any other debts during a death. In my humble opinion, when a death of a loved one occurs, the burden of paying some unwanted bill isn't warranted. You're already shaking my the passing of your loved one, the last thing you should be worrying about is some bill.

This was a great post and I wanted to expand on the issue of so many people who go without health care. A survey was conducted, regarding the increase in health care coverage since the Affordable Care Act [ACA] was passed, calculating an increase in coverage who were previously uninsured. This survey found that 22 percentage of those with coverage now did not have coverage prior to the ACA (Schoen, Doty, Robertson, & Collins, 2011) This estimates to be around 81 million people who are now insured. However, there are still groups that remain uninsured due to populations located within poverty areas.…

One surprising thing that they keep track of is Health Insurance; health insurance is very important in the United States. Traditional health insurance remains a principle concern for many American’s in which those without coverage yearn for it while those with coverage commonly struggle to understand their benefits. To put it differently, viewed as a necessity, health insurance never strays far from individual thought, whereas long-term care insurance (LTCI) remains off the radar. The most compelling evidence of this theory originates from a study conducted by the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance (AALTCI). The report, using 2012 statistics breaks down the age structure when people apply for LTCI into the following four age brackets. 1.…

Insuring the Uninsured: Where Should Undocumented Immigrants Stand The United States has maintained a tolerate-hate relationship with undocumented immigrants, and really immigrants in general. According to Pedraza and Rumbaut (1996) history has shown that their presence is necessary for economic development, especially in the labor workforce that has remained undesirable to native residents. However as Hilfinger-Messias, McEwen, and Boyle (2015) explain, more often then not when immigrants become increasingly visible in society nativism resurfaces exclusionary tendencies, and immigration policies become increasingly prohibitive and strict, especially when the U.S. economy is unstable. Even with regulations restricting illegal immigration Pedraza & Rumbaut (1996) highlight undocumented workers continue to arrive in hopes of…

Also the policy only covers up to 2500 dollars in art and they have 25,000 dollars worth of artwork (National Flood Insurance Program). Now while there are downsides to paying all of this money for a policy, the Leylands need to remember that their homeowner’s policy will not cover any of the flood damage. The best thing for them to do would to be go ahead and get a policy because the house itself is 165,000 dollars and that is covered by the policy. If I was the insurance agent I go the next step further and recommend keeping the coins in a waterproof safe and the artwork out of the basement if they had one.…
