The sheer cry of a baby being born is the most significant miracle a mother can ever feel. A baby is very precious to all women in the world, especially when you’re holding your own little miracle in your arms. It’s like looking in a reflection and seeing a part of you in your own baby. You know this child of yours will always have a special place in your heart. They make up the pure happiness of your life through all of the good and bad times you may experience. No matter what you promise to always love them through every struggle and mistake they make because the true beauty of a baby is knowing that you created it. This paper gave me a new perspective in my life to see what I was looking for and that is obstetrics nursing. Obstetrics nursing is the process of being there for the mother through her pregnancy, there for the birth of her baby coming into the world, and preparing the beginning of another life ready to start. Growing with a baby and being in their life is something that really can touch a person’s heart, and that’s what it did for me. I want to be someone who helps prosper the growth of babies and helps young mothers to take care of their
