Everyone wants to follow their dreams and become what they want to be when they grow up. Helping others is what I want to do. That is my dream, and bringing newborns to the life we live in. There are about 19,183 physicians around the world, who were surveyed in 2016, who work as an obstetrician-gynecologist. The job of an obstetrician-gynecologist (OB/GYN) involves mainly delivering babies, requires many characteristics one of which is to be energetic, and many high school courses that are needed, including a four year college education. To begin with, an OB/GYN has many important duties.For example, obstetricians care for pregnant women and deliver babies. Gynecologists specialize in the reproductive systems of women. The high school courses needed are general education with the concentration of health science. A four year’s bachelor’s degree is needed, meaning four years in college, or university, and four years of medical school. Then four years of residency training in obstetrics and gynecology. There’s also the possibility of doing three years of further training, which is optional. The skills needed are to have active learning so everything could be understood well. In addition to being judgemental and decisive, being good at persuading others in order to change their minds is also necessary. Not only that, but negotiating and reconciling differences, while also being able to instruct others to do things, is very helpful. In order to succeed in this career, of course, being good at scientific rules is very essential. It involves core tasks like delivering babies and providing medical care to women in the process of their pregnancy. Not only that, but the education of four years in college and many more years in training, etc. is also crucial in order to get the skills needed. Traits such as being active and focused are also prime in order to be able to put your heart into this career. “Almost every baby I deliver there is a lot of joy and it is a great thing to experience with the family,” an obstetrician-gynecologist doctor stated in an interview. I wish to be able to feel that joy and have that experience with the families when I deliver babies. I hope that I will be able to make changes in people's lives. Hopefully, by doing this career, I will be able to accomplish that and so much
