Lupe faced many obstacles throughout her lifetime. Starting off at a very young age moving to a whole different country and not knowing their language. Lupe was a family person. No matter what was going on, she always put her family needs first. Once she started school her family wasn't the only thing on her mind. Lupe had someone always tell her she was not smart enough. She was turned down by everyone because she did not have the proper education. However, Lupe did not let things like not knowing English stop her. She took additional classes just to finish within 3 years.
With that being said, I admire Lupe's determination. That's where I want to relate with Lupe. I came to the USA at a very young age as well. I took me double to learn
