Intense feelings of anxiety may come along with these unwanted thoughts. Anxiety is your brain’s warning when it feels like you are in danger. Anxiety helps you respond or react to danger. Why would you feel like you are in danger though? It does not make sense does it? Your brain certainly does not lie, neither do doesn’t your feelings.
