Walking in the hallways/ stairs Walking in a school hallway during passing time can always be a hassle. People like to stop and talk with their friends, play around, and walk very slow. One of my biggest pet peeves is when people stop while there is a group of other people behind them trying to get by. Also I don’t like when people walk side by side and take up half of the whole hallway space.…

The Crucible was a play written by Arthur Miller about the Salem Witch trials that took place in 1692. Throughout the play, there were many false accusations of witchcraft, most of which were driven by vengeance. The English III class was told to relate the events that occurred in the play to a current issue society faces. There are many scenarios that pertain to false accusations, some of which happen at Bellevue High School. In the modern society, it is possible to relate these false accusations to teenagers’ attacks on their own peers.…

1.The most significant thing I learned last week was the Four Lenses lesson principle. In this lesson, I learned about the different temperaments, colors or preferences that make individuals unique on our own way and that every person was born with a pre-deposition temperament. The Shipley communication assessment was fun; the result was shocking because it shows that my previous secondary color blue is now my primary color and my previous primary color gold is now my secondary. By knowing the different colors, it will help how I communicate and approach people with a different preference. 2.…

Everyone has a pet peeve, or something that really annoys them. For me my pet peeve is when everyone stands in the middle of the biggest hallway and blocks it off, because I feel like it is very disrespectful to others trying to get to class. This could also be a safety hazard, if an emergency happened and someone needed to get through in a hurry.…

When designing the book bag, I made sure that the activities I included were activities that the children would know how to complete. They were activities that the students had completed in their class with other stories or in another context. When reading stories in class, the students would create a story sequence to summarize what happened through the story. So, I knew that they would know what to do to complete the story sequence activity. To personalize it and make it fit with the story, I made it into a caterpillar that they attached the clips to with images.…

School rules are very important for keeping the school, teachers and students safe. One school rule that is very important is, ‘No backpacks on the stairs.’ It is a very important rule because, a person could trip over a backpack, causing injuries, things in people’s backpacks could catch on fire and cause people to not get out of the building safely, and people’s personal belongings could be stolen. ‘No backpacks on the stairs’ is an important rule because people could possibly trip over a backpack, and cause an injury. If a person got an injury at the school, the parents could possibly sue the school for safety regulations.…

I really enjoyed the time I spent in Mrs. Flinn’s fourth grade classroom over Spring Break. I was able to observe for a total of four hours between Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning. During my time with the fourth graders, I took a closer look at the solid behavior classroom supports being used. Along with these supports, I was extremely impressed by the way Mrs. Flinn handled classroom management. Even though I observed during a very exciting week, she had great control over her students.…

I believe that in order to have a successful classroom, a teacher must implement a variety of classroom management strategies to ensure that from September until June every single student gets the best education that he/she deserves. Even before the students arrive, one of the first things a teacher needs to do is make the classroom a warm, welcoming and safe place for each individual student. I want to make sure that from the first moment the students enter the classroom until the last moment before they leave that they will feel comfortable asking questions to both their peers and I. In addition, I would like my future students to feel like they can be themselves and at the same time accept their peers for who they are. When I do have…
