At every stage of making the log I learned how many connections can be made to the sonnet I chose to teach. The options were endless. It gave me a chance to go through the process students go, when they get to see a literature piece they haven’t seen before, and work on different aspects of it. I didn't automatically connect to the poem Liat chose on the first reading of the poem. However, gradually, as I solved the different assignments Liat has selected, and read the explanations she has added, made me look at the poem differently. I think the purpose of a good literature Log is to help students connect to different literature pieces and comprehend them on a deeper level. A task which I believe Liat has managed to achieve. Working together with Liat has definitely added to the experience of creating the Log, through giving and receiving feedback. I also enjoyed learning more about Liat's teaching style, and the experience of solving the Log, which enabled me to connect to experience of the students receiving
