Observing Isaiah was interesting, as he interacted amongst his family and presenting himself as an independent individual in certain situations. Isaiah expected his orange cup to placed in the same location. However, the cup was placed in a different area, which he immediately went to search for it. Isaiah would tend to search for his mother when she was not there to comfort him, because he is use to his mother providing sympathy towards him. “In order to continue working, living, striving, and positively interacting with others, one must have a positive self-concept” (Zastrow & Kirst- Ashman, 2015, p. 150). In other words, one must feel vigourous about themselves to continue living and being productive.
