An opening is an aid for teachers in order to get the students ready for the day and eager to learn. My teacher prepared me that her students fill out a daily assignment every morning together as a class, I was eager to see how the students reacted to their daily lesson. As a class, the students were participating, dancing and really enjoying the opening lesson. The first part of the opening was when the cooperating teacher had an interactive way in order to take attendance, as well as going over the classroom rules such as keeping their hands to themselves, listening, and respecting others. After the students completed the first task of the opening, they began to go around the room answering questions such as what was the weather, the day of the week, or which month we were in. Since the classroom has multi-needs students the teacher had a variety of methods in order for the students to participate while answering the questions, such as little notecards with pictures, words, communication I-pads, or switches that have the answers recorded on the device. The class was very interactive while participating in this activity, they were dancing to the music, laughing, looking outside in order to see the weather, and overall enjoying the start of the school
