During my observation, I had the opportunity to observe a Spanish teacher. The teacher is currently teaching Spanish I and II. In addition, he has nine years of teaching experience. During my time in his classroom, I was able to see classroom management techniques, a lot of good lessons, and most importantly witnessed the strong student-teacher relationship that the teacher has with his students.
Classroom management techniques
As I walked into the teacher’s classroom, I saw a welcoming environment. The teacher’s classroom is filled with a lot of appealing decorations and inspiring posters. I believe this is an approach to reduce behavioral problems because students are in an environment that is not dull; therefore, it enhances learning.
