Love languages are the actions that make people feel loved and appreciated. There are five different types: receiving gifts, words of affirmation, physical touch, quality time, and acts of service. Everyone has their own specific action, out of the five, that makes them feel the most loved. For example, I learned Jacque’s love language from observations. On January 25, my whole tech class was in Mtut’s classroom before we went out to the auditorium. Jacque, Kaitie, Trace, Michael, and Chris were sitting at one table, while Bell, Edie, Madison, and I were sitting at the table next to them. Jacque went around and complimented everyone at those two tables. Compliments are a type of words of affirmation because it shows encouragement and makes the receiver feel good. Having Jacque express words of affirmation to the group makes others in the group want to express their appreciation as well. This observation connects to love languages because Jacque showed words of affirmation to everyone at the tables. In class we learned that in most cases people express the love language that they enjoy the most to the people around them. Since Jacque was expressing words of affirmation, it is likely that words of affirmation is also her primary love …show more content…
There are sixteen types of personalities. They are combinations of four letters, which each letter stands for a different thing. The first letter, introverted or extroverted, talks about how people get their energy, the second letter, sensing or intuitive, talks about how they perceive information, the third letter, thinking or feeling, is how people process information, and the last letter, judging or perceiving, is how people use the information. On February 10, we did not have much to do in tech, so we were all hanging out in the auditorium. Chris, on a whim, decided that we should all play quidditch. He found brooms and balls that we could use and made a set-up. Then, they split up into teams of two and the rest of the class watched. These observations relate back to class because from them we can see part of Chris’ personality type. He is obviously extroverted because during the session he had more energy than usual. Extroverted people get energy from being around other people, which is how Chris got his energy. We can also tell that he is perceptive instead of judging because he did not think out a plan to play quidditch; he thought of the idea and immediately decided he wanted to play. Perceptive people usually improvise how they do things, which is what Chris did. From February 10’s observations, I can tell that his first letter is E and his last letter is P, which narrows down the possibilities for his true
