An intervention I observed was when the OT and the client were playing Zingo. The OT and client were sitting on the mat prepping for the game. The OT positioned himself in a regular seating position then throughout the game would change positions (prone-on-elbows, side-lying, and the regular seated position) to encourage him to try the positions, which focused on the child using his neck and trunk extensors during play. Once the game was set up, they began to play. The objective of the game was to fill up your Zingo/Bingo card with the playing pieces. This game would require the child to take turns, communicate, use fine and gross movement patterns, self-regulation, supine sitting, rule following, postural strength/control, social skills/social
