Anthonio was observed on October 21st, 2016. The B.A.T. clinical team met Anthonio, at Bright Futures Academy, to conduct a descriptive functional assessment, which consisted of direct observation of behavior and an Antecedent-Behavior-Consequence (ABC) narrative recording at the school.

The clinical team arrived during P.E, which looked similar to recess, students where just walking around campus. Tony was laying on his back on the concrete. Michelle his teacher, reported that Tony did not want to engage in PE and that he kept saying he was sick. Tony was allowed to lay on his back on the concrete. Eventually, a teacher's assistant came over to Tony and tried to get him to get up but, he would not get up. Tony then rolled further away from
