This story takes place in the Beautiful city of Pittsburgh where leaves glide through the breeze, birds chirp at the crack of dawn and where people walked the streets. Lived a kid named cody who goes to the new middle school North Pitt to start off his 8th grade year. Cody was getting ready for school like how he does every morning. Get dressed eat breakfast brush his teeth and get on the bus. On his way to school he was thinking I can't wait today is soccer sign-ups. When the bus pulled up to the school Cody walk to Mrs.Cook's room with Caleb and Logan his best friends that are also trying out for the soccer team. After soccer practice in the cool autumn breeze, he tried to talk to his parents but they tried avoiding the topic of soccer and tryouts at all by bringing up other conversations. Cody thought to himself why are they avoiding that the fact today was soccer practice and I have a issue to be resolved.
The next morning Cody got up extra early to do his chores before school so he could go to Caleb’s house. So Cody put on his jacket and rushed outside and raked the leaves into nice piles, then took out the garbage when he saw it. It was solution to all his problems, a way he can find out about his so called heart condition coach told him about. Cody thought to himself I could go to the town hall to find my permanent record.
Cody rushed inside to finish getting dressed and to grab his things and head to the bus stop.
When he got there Caleb was already there and they talked for a minute then the soccer subject and Cody said “why don’t we try to find out about my soccer issue because my parents wont tell me anything. So I had an idea let’s go to the town hall they will tell me but it cost money to ride the subway “, said

So Caleb and logan just realized that the only way they could locate Cody's record is to confront her. So Cody and Caleb walked up and and said, “Mrs.Weaver I need my permanent record please”.
“That will be $15 and how will you...hey don’t I know you kids are you friends with Logan?” Asked Mrs.Weaver. “Yes” the boys replied “It's Cody and Caleb, but we really need that record or i can't play soccer”.”Ok well you shouldn’t skip school though, but that will be $15”, “we don't have money though”.Caleb said.
“Ok boys I will give you $15 if you promise me you won't skip school again”,”Yes Mrs.Weaver, thank you”. When Mrs.Weaver printed the sheet Cody skimmed over it and it said “Case 4, double heart disorder”. So Cody stepped back for a minute and thought to himself no Wonder I can run for so long. And don’t loose a sweat or stop to breath but..could it be deadly.
Since it was quiet Logan’s mom blurted in and said “ If you want I can take you guys to school?.” “No thank you Mrs.Weaver” said Caleb “We will ride the subway home we bought a 2 way pass to ride the subway, we might as well use it”, said
