Observation In Psychology

I observed a young Asian woman, vigorously washing her hands in the girl’s bathroom in the Homewood location. She then slowly put on her Johns Hopkins sweater. It was interesting to see her focus on her sweater rather than herself as she looked in the mirror. I asked her if she was a student and she nodded negatively. She shared with me that she was visiting from another campus, doing research at Johns Hopkins. Exiting the bathroom, I saw the young woman walk into a lush green landscape dotted with historical buildings and clusters of other students. It finally cemented my decision to make JHU a part of my life journey.
