There are many actions I can take in order to be in compliance with the spirit of Obra ’90. The first thing that I can do is to always ensure that the patient's profile is always up to date. It is important to be aware of any possible or new changes that have occurred in each patient’s history. In a patient profile, their basic information is put into the system. However, more important information such as their age, past medications, allergies, and such are inputted as well. This would allow me to think and take into consideration necessary precautions about medications the patient is being given. By knowing their past history I can provide the best care possible. Another action that I can take involves another part of the screening.
