The item I selected on the All My Life Is For Sale website is a Chicago Cubs tank top. The subjective description mainly focuses on the sellers personal experiences as opposed to any specific details about the tank top. The seller explained that the tank top was worn a night going out to dinner at a restaurant called Soul Kitchen with his friend’s Lisa and Ben. The author used his story to allow the reader to visualize what it would be like to be there with him.

I was able to locate a very similar Chicago Cubs tank top on ebay. After reading two posts the sellers seemed to focus mainly on the facts. The description on ebay was objective, the seller described the tank tops’ visual and physical features. Noting that the tank size was large and the color was blue while avoiding any personal relation. The author was straight to the point and used facts to allow the reader to visualize what the item looked like if it had no picture on the post. …show more content…
