Our type of business will mainly be reliant on word of mouth, which means by making sure every customer is satisfied, they will most likely tell their friends about their positive experience and this will result in increased traffic. Despite this, we will still need to promote our business to reach brand new customers. Will use the D.A.P.P.S. method to develop our promotional plan.
Direct Marketing- We will compile a database of customers, by asking for their emails for while they are paying at the POS. We will then email the customers exclusive deals. This will make the customers feel more connected to our business and influence them to come in more often.
Advertising- We will have commercials that will air through Massillon Cable TV’s local television channels. Management & Administration
Ownership: Obie-Achi is a Limited Liability Company (LLC) that contains the characteristics of a corporation and a sole proprietorship. We will be taxed just like a sole proprietor but with the limited liability of a corporation. This gives us flexibility when it comes to taxes because we will not be taxed directly, we will be able to decide how we want to be taxed. Also, being an LLC protects our business and employees from liability, so they won’t be personally liable for any scenario.
Management: Obie-Achi will open with a management team consists of 1 head Hibachi chef, 3 managers, and 3 assistant managers. Our management team will hire and train a team of up to 28 employees.
Personnel Plan: Our staff will consist of 28 employees, including 8 hibachi chefs, 4 bartenders, 8 servers, 4 busers, and 4 maintenance employees. Each staff member, excluding our hibachi chefs and bartenders, will be cross trained, so all of our roles can and will be covered on any given night, even if the situation calls for it. Because of our training strategy, there will be no gaps in our employment

Mayor Erin Stewart is hoping with the new baseball team coming to town, it will revitalize the city once again. However, economical experts seem to believe the New Britain Bees will not cause an economic boom as hoped for. Donn M. Johnson, a Interim Chair of Economics and a professor of Sports Economics at Quinnipiac University, suggests that bringing a new team to a town does little to none economical improvement. According to Johnson, if the people who are going to the games are largely local then it is just arranging the way town citizens use their money. For example, the eight dollars used to buy a game ticket could instead be used to buy a small pizza pie from a local business owner.…

Critique of the Rhea Medical Center Community Health Needs Assessment Rhea Medical Center conducted their most recent Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) in 2016. The CHNA data applies to people living in the geographic areas of Dayton, Graysville, Evensville, Spring City and Grandview, all communities of Rhea County, Tennessee (Rhea Medical Center, 2016, p. 11). One thing that surprised me in the CHNA was of the top 15 causes of death in the United States, nine occurred at "Higher than expected" rates in Rhea County (Rhea Medical Center, 2016, p. 30). This is disturbing as I have lived in Rhea County most of my life and have always considered it a safe and healthy place to live. Also surprising, were the mortality and premature death rates, which according to the CHNA are also both higher in Rhea County than the state and national averages.…

The target markets are young singles, young families, mature families, empty nesters, and retired families. We started off with just targeting everyone in the target market with just cold medicine. Even though cough is leading in manufactured sales, we may have to add allergy and cough to our product to stretch across the board more. We may still keep the same target market we have for the families, but later down the road we’ll have to focus more on the families that purchase the product the most. Since we may add more segments, we may increase the price by a hair.…

And, when you read studies, like the one done by Accenture that reports Millennials spend roughly $600 billion annually, you understand why companies like Coca Cola and Uber make marketing to this demographic their primary focus. However, in their mad dash to woo one demographic, marketers frequently ignore another: Baby boomers. And this is a mistake – a big one.…
