The President’s Council on Physical Fitness, Sports and Nutrition consists of individuals appointed by the President ranging from doctors, chefs, athletes, scholars, nutritionist and trainers who all share in the task of implementing events and programs across America to improve all aspects of fitness and nutrition (President’s Council on Physical Fitness, Sports and Nutrition). Utilizing both avenues of approach can be successful, whether it be highlighting the harsh realities of obesity or spreading positive and useful information, however moderation should always be utilized when speaking about negatively-viewed topics. Showcasing the serious medical implications of obesity to include diabetes, heart failure and bone/joint deterioration serves to emphasize the issues associated and seriousness of the epidemic without being
