A bottle of water can cost anywhere from $2 to $5, but a large fountain drink almost anywhere will cost you a dollar or less. A cheeseburger with fries goes for about $2.50 at a fast-food place, but a salad is about $6.00. Which one would you think people would buy if they were on a budget? That includes most Americans.
Most people are so busy nowadays that they don’t have time to cook. Some people barely have enough time to fix their ramen noodles. People are constantly multi-tasking just to be able to fit in all they have to do in a day, that they miss their meals and then get home at night and are starving and eat all they can find. People have full time jobs and work long hours and hardly have time to stop so they would rather just find the nearest fast-food location and spend only five minutes getting a meal, when it would take about an hour or more to make a home-made meal. (I would know; this is why I am the way I am right now). The majority of Americans have no will power when it comes to food. We are constantly being tempted with food on TV, billboards and all types of media.
