Have you ever heard health warnings or facts on obesity before? If you have, you probably also tried to start dieting or eating healthier, right? In turn, this might have made you want to do a little bit of research, because you don’t know very much about eating healthy. So, you go on the internet, and your already-limited knowledge gets even more muddled in your head, because you find all of these different sites that tell you completely polar opposite information. If this has happened to you, I’m here to clear things up. In this article, I’ll be telling you the truth about food, despite what the media has been saying to you.

Many people have heard incorrect myths about dieting and health, most of them about low-fat diets. While many people think that low-fat foods are better for you, this is, surprisingly, untrue. In order for factories to make their food low-fat, they have to replace them with unsaturated vegetable oils. The structure of the vegetable oils are changed, so they can compensate for the trans-fats. To do this, they use a process called hydrogenation. This

So why do people still drink diet sodas and zero calorie drinks? Most do it for only one reason: because they think it will help them lose weight. Again, this is false. Zero calorie drinks and food will actually cause us to gain weight, not lose it. Diet drinks make us gain several pounds for a couple of reasons. For one, they slow down our natural fat burners. Fat burners help us process the fat that we eat, while burning calories in the process. The second reason is that zero calorie drinks cause inflammation, and inflammation causes fat, especially around the belly. The last, and most important reason, is that they mess up our ability to monitor what we eat. When
