Obesity In Arkansas Case Study

In the state of Arkansas, obesity has become a problem. It is now proven to be one of the highest obesity rates in adults of the nation. In the current year of 2014, Arkansas is known to have a 35.9 percent obesity rate as of now. These rates have increased from 17.0 percent in 1995 and 21.9 percent in 2000. As you can see Arkansas rates in obesity have increased by more than 10 percent in just the last 14 years. The obesity rates in age categories have showed that people in the age of forty-five and sixty-four are consuming the most food with a percentage of 41.7 as in the year of 2014. Next, those in the age category of twenty-six and forty-four are followed after the 41.7% with a percentile of 38.8, as you can see not much of a big difference. If those in the twenty-six and forty-four increased with a 2.9 percentile the rank in their age category would be just as high as those in the age category of forty-five and sixty-four.
