Why Do People Become Obese?

There have been many stories about people being obese. It first started as a good thing, but now it has twisted. Being obese once had a lot of value to it; meaning that the people that was obese have a lot of strength. Most people who were obese did had a lot of weight lifting jobs or was used for security purposes. Japan first started competition using large obese men called Sumo Wrestlers. Now obesity has adapted into a different category, such as health issues. Obesity is now considered to be a condition where there is excessively too much fat. In the United States alone have over 2 million people are experiencing some type of obesity. Obese has got extremely dangerous. People are starting to question where this comes from. People should be continually being active all day. People should start the day running, so that there is enough energy to carry out the rest of the day. Instead of sleeping after meals, people should go to the gym. To keep children from becoming obese, parents should keep them in sports, or even putting them into camps during the summer time. This would keep active so that once school starts back up they will be motivated to get up. The school of Public Health, says, “Keeping active can help people stay at a healthy weight or lose weight. It can also lower the risk of heart disease, diabetes, stroke, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, and certain cancers, as well as reduce stress and boost mood (para. 2).” While people are at work and they get a break from sitting down all they should takeaways while eating at meals, so that the food doesn 't just sit in their stomach. Being obese means that the body has a slower metabolism. This means that anything that people eat might sit in the building up fast, causing people to become overweight.
