What is obesity? Obesity is being overweight or being grossly fat. It is also a disorder involving excessive body fat that increases the risk of health problems. Obesity is a major problem in the United States. The United States is the ninth fattest country in the world. The United States is 74.1% of people being fat or obese. Obesity in the U.S. is a major problem. The obese population is growing rapidly. There are many different steps in preventing obesity. Obesity should not be taken lightly because people are at serious risks. Being overweight can also be genetic, Which means people can’t help being overweight. If a person is just over eating they have all the power to lose weight. Being obese can affect anyone. Being obese affects people that eat a lot of unhealthy foods followed by not exercising, or just being lazy in general. For the last couple of years, obesity has started rising significantly. Obesity affects all ages. The person whose obese and even their friends and family can help those overweight people struggling. If any obese people don’t get help, to be slimmer they could end up with serious health conditions that could end their life. A lot of people haven’t gotten help because they have no support from family or from friends. Being obese is a serious problem people are cutting their lives short, they’re not wanting to get help, or exercise. Being obese can cut a human’s life short. Obesity kills people every year.
