Contrary to studies, I do not believe that obesity is a preventable disease especially since it can be caused through genetics, medications and other psychological disorders. Because of these important factors of causation, how can an individual who was born into obesity be able to prevent obesity form occurring? Furthermore, how can one who is prescribed medication for a health condition be able to stop taking his/her medication? I do not believe that such a person is at fault about with their disorder if they simply cannot help being that way. A person that chooses to eat without any genetic and medicinal factors involved would be people that are considered people that can prevent
