I first came across Oberlin as I was searching through various private liberal arts colleges. Oberlin especially caught my eye because of the conservatory attached to it; being in close contact with this sort of musical environment is very exciting to me. I am looking to go to a college that will provide academic and artistic stimulation, and Oberlin stands out as one of the colleges to best foster my ambitions.

The care that Oberlin gives their students when it comes to affordability also caught my eye; this dedication in providing financial aid to students tells me that Oberlin greatly values the students they accept, and offers a caring, comfortable environment.
