As soon as my mom arrived we helped him to his feet and to the trailer.
“I called Oak Ridge, they have a spot ready for him, we need to hurry.”
We arrived at the equine hospital and eased him into the large metal building. The helplessness in his eyes had turned to fear.
“He was laying down when we got to the barn this morning and he wasn’t acting normal,” She said as she struggled to keep Jazz calm. Knowing what it meant when horses laid down we knew something was definitely wrong. Hours passed at what felt like days before we were finally told what was causing pain he was feeling.
“After many hours of scoping, Ultrasounding, and testing we have discovered tumors the size of golfballs in his colin” The vet said with sorry eyes. A huge
