Oahu Compare And Contrast

The Big Island and Oahu are both located in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, surrounded by only water and the other Hawaiian Islands. The Big Island and Oahu have many similarities and differences, the size of them both is a huge difference. They do also have many similarities, as some may know, they’re both islands in the Pacific Ocean. The Big Island is fairly different, but also similar to Oahu for many reasons.

Both the Big Island and Oahu have many differences, the size is a big difference between the two islands, the Big Island is 3431.3 miles larger than Oahu. On Oahu, the average price of a house is $700, on the Big island the average price would be around $400-500. Since the price of a house is more expensive on Oahu, that means more homeless people since most can’t afford to buy an actual place to live, the Big Island doesn’t have very many homeless people. Another difference between the two islands is the population, the Big Island may be a lot larger than Oahu, but Oahu’s population is higher than the

One similarity being the fact that they are both apart of the Hawaiian Island chain. Another similarity between the two islands is that they were both formed by volcanoes. The islands were not formed by volcanoes just anywhere on the Earth. They were formed a few miles apart in the Pacific Ocean! The two islands are known for being relaxing and adventurous, so they’re both great vacation spots. These are some similarities between the two islands.

In conclusion, the Big Island and Oahu are both similar and different in many ways. Although they are near each other, they aren’t completely alike. The differences between the two islands don’t make them horrible places. For example, Oahu and the Big Island still make lots of money through the tourism industry since they’re both beautiful places! They’re both wonderful vacation spots.
